Is fasting really necessary?

Yes. Glucose and lipid readings shift substantially after eating, so a non-fasting sample gives numbers that cannot be interpreted reliably. Ten to twelve hours is the window — no longer, since an excessive fast distorts results in the other direction.

Are there charges on top of ₹2,199?

None. Home collection, all 82 parameters, laboratory processing, pathologist review and your digital report are all covered. Payment is taken after collection by cash, UPI or card.

How much blood is drawn?

Around 6 ml across three tubes — roughly a teaspoon and a half. It is a single needle insertion, and the whole visit including paperwork takes under fifteen minutes.

Can I book this for my parents?

Yes, and it is a common request. Book under their name from your own account and add your number for report notifications. For anyone above 60, compare it against our Senior Citizen Package, which adds bone health markers.

Will a doctor explain the results?

Every report is signed by a consultant pathologist, and abnormal values carry an interpretive comment. Anything urgent gets a phone call. For a full clinical consultation we can refer you to a physician on request.

How often should it be repeated?

Once a year suits most healthy adults. If you are managing diabetes, thyroid disease or high cholesterol, your doctor may want specific parameters checked every three to six months — a focused package is usually better for that follow-up.
